Noise and heat Reduction, Sound Guard is easily one of the best, if not the best self-adhesive dampeners available in the market today. Besides being extremely effective, it is extremely easy to use, with a simple cut-peel-stick process that will only take you minutes at the most!
If you are looking to damp out noise in your vehicle, factory, boat or tractor, Noise and Heat Reductions Sound Guard is the best sound deadener that money can buy. Here are more specific reasons as to why.
Rugged, industrial strength adhesive – While there are some deadeners that try mimic Noise and Heat Reductions Sound Guard, none come close to matching the high quality adhesive used. Sound Guard’s specially formulated heavy duty E-TAC butyl rubber adhesive has almost 0% filler content, leading to a grip and set that lasts longer than copy mats.
Specially formulated core: over 10 years of industrial sound dampening experience has given us the edge in dampening technology, allowing us to develop an industrial strength E-TAC rubber core at a fraction of the cost. Noise and Heat reductions Sound Guard core is formulated uniquely for harsh South African conditions offering the widest temperature operating range and dampening effectiveness. Industrial quality is now affordable and easy to use.
Sound Guard is simply THE best sound deadener, built heavy, strong and durably, at a price that gives you fantastic value for your money.
Gets rid of annoying road, engine and gearbox noise in vehicles, improves a speaker’s sound quality stops rattles and buzzes.
With high adhesion back side, it conforms and fuses easily to sheet metal and other hard substrates.
Most effective temperature ranges between – 20°C to +60°C. Material can withstand temperature extremes between -40°C to +150°C.
High vehicle noise levels cause driver fatigue and irritation, and will affect the way music sounds out of speakers.
- Waterproof, heavy duty, clean, light, flexible, non-absorbent surface
- Fire resistant
- Effective in extreme temperatures
- Easy to install
- No special glues or heat guns required
- Self-adhesive, peel and stick.
- Safe to handle with no special clothing or breathing Equipment
Material can be die cut to shape and placed onto the body surface directly on painted panels or after the sheet metal is cleaned before painting.
It is used to treat metal panels, partitions, ducts, doors, bins, panels, and so forth in the automotive, industrial, marine and agricultural sectors.
It can also be used for ventilation ducts, relay cabinets, steel furniture and home appliances such as sink units, computer equipment, machine tools and many other objects that suffer from vibration-produced noise.
- Use scissors, knife or die to cut material to the desired size.
- Next, remove dust, grease and moisture from the application surface.
- Peel off the backing.
- The simplest application technique is to bend the mat slightly and attach it along its shortest edge.
- Press the mat firmly into place, using a Roller Application for larger pieces.
- The roller reduces the risk of leaving air pockets, which reduce material’s sound damping capacity.
- Heating the material is NOT necessary based on the panel surface.
- Work gloves should be used when handle foil backed material because the sharp edges when cut to different size

Sound Guard Uses:
If these vibrations can be blocked out, your car feels like it is virtually floating on the road. When Sound Guard is used on the inside of your sheet metals, in strategic locations where road noise is highest, it does an amazing job of capturing these vibrations, in a unique process that transforms vibrations into heat, heat that is then silently dissipated into air.
Make a smart choice with Sound Guard, a sound deadener that is extremely easy to install, resulting in sound and vibration reduction that is 300% more effective than conventional sound deadeners that retail for much higher prices.
Reducing road noise in a car is an art. When a car rolls along a road, it picks up thousands of vibrations, vibrations that reverberate into the car’s sheet metal structure. Engine noise, tyre noise and even exhaust drone can all blend into a cacophony that we call “road noise”.
